New dim to warm LED lighting is proving to be very popular on my lighting design work. In essence its a source of LED lighting that dims and gets more orange. Replicating the same 1800k glow you get from a flame/fire. Its a gorgeous warm ambient light and works very well in open plan living rooms, dinning rooms and bedrooms. If you have a log burner or an electric fire the two work well togther, the glow from the fire complimented by the warm tone colour of the LED lighting. You can now buy both LED GU10 Dim to warm lamps which fit into any GU10 downlights. You can also now buy dim to warm LED tape.

GU10 dim to warm lamps are designed to retrofit into any GU10 fitting. They work great in ceiling downlights, wall wash lights both indoor and outdoor and low level guide lights. All of these lights are available on this website. Check out the selection of baffled Gu10 downlights. The lamps are 380lm so nice and bright, easily compatible to a 50w halogen. They come on at 2700k and as you dim them down they get more and more orange, until they are producing a lovely 1800k which is the same colour as a naked flame. They are a great way to light any room/space where you relax. 

Dim to warm LED tape is a fantastic new product. With 140 diodes per metre they appear seemless, no dots. Which is great if you plan to fit the profile and tape in a visable area. Being they produce 800lm per metre when on the brightest setting you can easily use this tape for primary lighting. I will often use a plaster in led profile and fit tape over kitchen islands and to wall wash an entire wall. You can even use led tape to light a bathroom or hallway. Now this tape comes alive once again when you begin to dim it. As it gets more and more warm, just like the Gu10 dim to warm. When it's on it's dim setting it's produces a stunning orange 1800k flame effect colour. LED tapes are often used as a subtle background light. So why would you not want it nice and warm to make your room look cosy? This tape is on display now in our Bristol showroom. It's sold per metre or on a drum.
