Alphine GU10 dual mounting garden ground/spike light. This mains exterior spotlight comes with a spike to fix it into soil or grass. It also comes with a  mounting bracket base so you can easily fit it to decking or paving. Each unit is fully IP44 rated and you fit your own LED GU10 lamp. This means you can choose dimmable LEDs, warm or cool white. For most of my garden design work I recommend a warm white LED. It also means you can easily change the LED should it fail. The light comes with 250mm of black UV rated cable pre-wired so you simply connect this up using a weather-proof box.

I always use spike lights on my lighting designs as they are flexible and easy to position. You can also move them around should the plants or garden change over time. The spotlight head is fully adjustable and can be angled up at trees, bushes, walls and other features. It could also be angled downwards to illuminate paths and driveways. This brand of outdoor light has proven very reliable and I seldom get returns from them. With outdoor lighting you really get what you pay for and I believe if you spend the extra money you will get a reliable source of light that not only looks great it lasts.
