A beautiful week aged genuine Verdigris copper pendant light. To create this natural aged effect takes several days to break the copper finish down, once the patina has set in I then then lacquer the shade and ceiling rose by hand to seal the finish. This is a very unique and beautiful patina finish and each one we make is slightly different. Please note this a is naturaly aged product and the end result is a very textured distressed finish, the salts and texture will be prominant. This style and design of pendant is popular in barn conversions, rustic country homes and in industrial bars and restaurants. Wherever this lights get fitted it gets noticed. They are a great talking point and a striking statement light. I supplied them to a local fish restaurant who was kind enough to send me some pictures. They really set the restaurant off and with the matching wall lights and downlights also available in the collection the design is perfect. To discuss your lighting project please contact me info@fraserbesantlighting.co.uk I am always happy to talk lights and am very passioante about my work and designs.
We make this pendant using 1.5mm thick copper so the weight and quality of this shade is second to none. The shade itself is made right here in the UK and the vintage shape and design are unique to us. We supply each pendant set with 1.5 metres of brown twisted fabric cable and a verdigris copper ceiling rose. Each rose is supplied with a metal fixing bracket, earth lug and wago connectors for an easy installation. It comes with a copper metal cord grip. These pendants are perfect for a barn conversion, vintage property, restaurant or bar. We get amazing feedback on the design and look and have had many happy customers who love this finish.
I decided to create my own brand of lighting as we wanted to get back to the old mid century British approach to manufacturing. Not a that will do attitude but products that are built with care and made using the best materials, fittings that will stand the test of time. Having had great success selling genuine vintage lights from the 1940s I wanted to bring a range to market that will also still be working in 60 years time.
