RAKO RMT500 An in-line RF dimmer for GU10 LED lamps, tungsten, low voltage halogen and other trailing edge dimmable loads.

A compact 500W RF dimmer designed to fit through a standard down-light cut-out. Trailing edge dimming technology gives smooth quiet dimming of electronic transformer fed loads and maximises dimming performance of most GU10 LED down-lights.

Programmed using either an RCM wallplate or the RASOFT Pro software, the unit stores the House, Room and Channel address plus 16 preset scene levels in non volatile memory.

We only recommend certain brands of LEDs for use with RAKO. Some LEDs have a high inrush current when they first turn on so it is worth checking this information out as some LEDs can draw 7-9 times their normal consumed wattage when first switched on, so a 6 watt LED GU10 can briefly consume 55 watts. If you have 10 on a single circuit this means the total inrush current can be over 500 watts. The maximum wattage of this dimmer is 500 watts so be midful of this during the installation. We recommend using either the Megaman GU10 LED lamps or the KSR dedicated 10 watt LED downlights. Both of these are detailed below for you. Both are working on display in our showroom.
